Lose yourself among the local craft shops and bakeries of villages like Hahndorf, Australia’s oldest surviving German settlement and Lobethal, a favorite Christmas destination. Or go for a drive into the countryside and buy freshly picked fruit and vegetables from a roadside stall. One thing you must do is visit The Cedars, formerly the home of Sir Hans Heysen, and now a living tribute to his artwork depicting the area.
