From Sydney, travel to Adelaide, the elegant capital of South Australia, on the Indian Pacific train in gold Service sleeper cabins. All along the Indian Pacific route, keep an eye out for sightings of the magnificent Australian Wedge-tailed Eagle. Its massive wingspan will make it easy to spot in a clear desert sky. On arrival in Adelaide you will be transferred to your hotel for one night before you journey to Kangaroo Island, Australia’s ‘zoo without cages’.
