ITINERARY

Day 1 Nourlangie Rock, Yellow Waters Cruise
Depart Darwin and travel into World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park. Visit the Warradjan Cultural Centre. Join a guided boat cruise on Yellow Water, Kakadu’s most famous wetland area. Keep a look out for the powerful saltwater crocodiles and see diverse birdlife, and beautiful water lilies. After lunch travel to Nourlangie art site. (L)

Day 2 Ubirr, East Alligator River Cruise
Option to take a flight over the Arnhem Land Escarpment (own expense). Travel to Ubirr to see superbly preserved Aboriginal rock art before joining an Aboriginal guide for a cruise on the East Alligator River. Take a short walk into Arnhem Land. Enjoy a glass of wine while watching the changing light of day over the wetlands. Arrive in Darwin at 8pm. (L)
