ITINERARY

Jean-Michel Cousteau, famed oceanographer and explorer, has spent his life communicating his devotion and concern for our planet to people of all nations and generations. Son of the late Jacques Cousteau, Jean-Michel is dedicated to sharing with environmental adventurers his love of land, ocean and culture; and his commitment to their preservation.

Jean-Michel’s passion for the indigenous people of Fiji, their culture, traditions, warmth and natural hospitality has led him to create an eco-friendly resort with a unique environmental philosophy. The resort strives to maintain nature’s perfect balance by respecting and participating in the living vitality of the environment.

The acclaimed resort is an international favorite for romance, honeymoons and weddings; scuba diving; and families, who want to combine heavenly surroundings and exceptional dining with an unsurpassed range of eco-friendly activities.

While surrounding yourself within the reef and the romance, you will stay in a Point Reef Bure.

Set apart from the resort in a secluded area, but with easy access to all on offer, these private split level bures are very spacious - ideal accommodations for honeymoon couples and romantic getaways. Each bure features about 750 square feet plus a balcony and a 200 square foot deck. They have one king bed on the upper level and two separate day beds on the lower level or sitting area. All offer spectacular ocean views from the living room and bedroom.

Water enthusiasts will be in heaven at Jean-Michel Cousteau Fiji Islands Resort, where warm, clear waters tempt both above and below the waves. Known as the “Soft Coral Capital of the World,“ Fiji offers the largest variety of fish and coral anywhere in the world. Small reef dwellers and large ocean pelagics (a class of fish that includes barracuda, tuna and sharks) swim among the colorful reefs near the resort.

In addition to the fabulous dives on offer, the choice is yours—indulge with a massage by one of Cousteau Resort’s superior therapists, or escape on a romantic private picnic with your loved one.
