The Hideaway experience is the Fiji experience—a place of romance and mystery, of beauty and ceremony, of color and emotion. The Hideaway experience will show you the Fiji the books were written about; the real Fiji that often hides itself behind a veneer of 20th Century Western sophistication.

You will begin to fully appreciate the inherent grace and dignity of Fiji and the Fijian people as you involve yourself—even if only for a short time—in the rich cultural and scenic splendor of the islands—a land of ageless traditions, of ritual and secrets, of subtle rhythms and haunting melodies, of mysterious hidden forces. The Hideaway experience is a genuine wish by the Fijian people to share with you some of the wonderful sights, sounds and tastes of their amazing homeland.

Staying at the Hideaway Resort Fiji you will find your accommodations have flavors of the tropics, married perfectly with western comforts. And as you gaze upon the wonders of the Pacific Ocean from your bed you may contemplate the luxury of your private outdoor bath/shower.

You will find it all happening at Hideaway. There is a spacious pool, health and beauty spa, gymnasium, boutique, handicraft center and wood carving center to keep you busy. Activities to suit everybody are scheduled throughout the day. Professional entertainment is programmed nightly in the theater restaurant, by the pool or in the Fire Walking Arena.

Hideaway Resort loves families. The Kids Club is a very popular choice with the little ones! The club is suitable for children between the ages of 5-12. Full time baby sitting is available for younger ages. The Hermit Crab Club is a free daily activities program that has been designed to enable overseas children to experience the culture, heritage and traditions of the Fijian people, while having fun in a vacation environment.

The program runs from 9:30 in the morning, breaks for lunch, resumes in the afternoon and includes (at cost of meal) a supervised dinner and finishes at 8:30 pm. This allows time to join with parents to watch the popular nightly shows on stage in the theater restaurant, which the children sometimes perform in. Parents can relax and enjoy their vacation together, knowing their children are being well cared for by the Hideaway staff.

It is the belief at Hideaway that children should also be able to leave from a vacation having made new friends, having experienced the whole new world of Fijian life and having had a fantastic fun vacation in the Hideaway family surroundings.
