ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrive Christchurch
On arrival in Christchurch you will be met and transferred to your hotel, The Charlotte Jane.
Day 2 Wine Trail Tour
This morning you will be collected from your hotel and escorted on a half day tour, highlighting four of north Canterbury’s famous boutique wineries. After returning to your hotel the remainder of the day is at leisure to explore Christchurch. (B)
Day 3 Christchurch to Queenstown via Mt. Cook
This morning join your coach tour to Queenstown. Along the way you will visit stunning and well known sights, including the Church of the Good Shepherd and Lake Tekapo. You will also stop for lunch at the base of Mount Cook before arriving into Queenstown early evening, Browns Boutique Hotel. (B)
Day 4 Doubtful Sound Wilderness Cruise
Today you will visit the stunning and serene Doubtful Sound. You will be transferred by coach to meet the cruise. The full day tour includes coach transfers, cruise on Doubtful Sound, full commentary. (B)
Day 5 Cruise to Walter Peak and dinner
Your day is at leisure till this evening, where you will take the leisurely cruise on the TSS Earnslaw across Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak High Country Farm. After a brief farm show you will delight in a lovely dinner in the Colonels homestead. Your evening tour will last approximately 4 hours. (B, D)
Day 6 Taieri Gorge Train to Dunedin
Travel via coach from Queenstown to Pukerangi where you will board the Taieri Gorge Train to Dunedin. On arrival into Dunedin you will be met and transferred to your accommodation for the next 2 nights, Glenfield House. (B)
Day 7 Otago Peninsula
This premier package includes the full Otago Harbour and Taiaroa Head wildlife cruise, scenic Otago Peninsula bus tour, and guided tours of the Royal Albatross Colony, the Yellow Eyed Penguin Reserve and a visit to wading bird habitats. (B)
Day 8 Depart Dunedin
Your day is at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
