ITINERARY

About 18 miles south of Rangiroa on the other side of its vast lagoon, you will find the Kia Ora Sauvage - a private islet, complete with five comfortable beach bungalows to recreate the traditional Polynesian way of life.

Built in the heart of lush nature, the Kia Ora Sauvage offers its visitors all the comforts and luxury of an international hotel. Created with traditional, natural, Polynesian materials, each bungalow is a work of art. Aito wood, coconut, woven bamboo and pandanus marvelously dress up these exotic rooms. Each bungalow has private facilities and the bathrooms themselves are pure marvels; shell curtains, coral flooring, stone basin and its vanilla vines - an extension of the surrounding nature.

Because life is simple on the island, you will experience true island living. There is no electricity on the island and lanterns are brought to your bungalow each evening. All meals are included, and a local couple will cook and cater to your every need.

Each moment is precious on this land that caresses the water. At the Kia Ora Sauvage, it’s as if everyday is relived over and over. The sunrise is a rare purity and the sunsets leave you wondering with their bright red and pink colors. During the day, a walk along the reef with the locals to catch a few multi colored fish, reminds you of the simple things in life. Excursions are organized daily to visit neighboring islets for a picnic. At the Kia Ora Sauvage even the nights are splendid.

Spend your days relaxing, swimming and getting back to nature.
