Experience the region’s rich Aboriginal history and culture, take a journey from coast to rainforest to learn the ancient culture of the Kuku Yalanji people. With spear in hand, learn traditional
hunting and gathering techniques on a two-hour coastal walk as you track and hunt for fish, mud crabs and mussels along the beach and through the mangroves. Enjoy homemade damper
and a taster of what you have caught.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Mossman Gorge Centre, before being greeted with a traditional smoking ceremony. A ceremony conducted by Aboriginal people with specialized cultural knowledge to welcome you to their land. Wander into the lush rainforest and experience the wonders of the World Heritage-listed site, immerse yourself in enchanting stories and rich Indigenous heritage. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the cool clear waters of the Gorge.
