If you love animals and nature, you will enjoy one of our wildlife tours! This tour being one of the Australia wildlife tour packages starting directly from Port Douglas to Mossman, the Daintree River, Cape Tribulation and return to our original spot in Port Douglas, is also World Heritage-listed. Come on board as you explore the Daintree National Park and enjoy the breathtaking views from Alexandra Range Lookout. This full-day experience includes a guided rainforest walk and access to unique locations to spot native wildlife.
Tour in style and travel in a luxury SUV through rich farming areas towards the tropical and beautiful Daintree National Park. There’s so much to see! You can also follow along on the personalized craft for a cruise on the mirrored smooth waters of the Daintree River, which travels close to riverbanks and under the overhead canopy to maximize your wildlife viewing opportunities. Cruise through silent backwaters where crocodiles typically bask in the muddy environment before making their way on the northern side of the river. Do you think you’ll be able to spot one? We sure can! They’re around us!
Continue joining us to the river’s northern side and enter the Daintree section of the Wet Tropics World Heritage protected rainforest for a homemade morning tea underneath the rainforest canopy. What’s better than gazing at this beautiful view while sipping on some tasty and cozy tea, anyway?
As our adventure continues, you’ll find yourself exploring the beautiful Alexandra Range, passing through the local rainforest, and stopping to enjoy a scenic and guided exploration of the amazing ecosystem. You’ll also have the opportunity to view the inside of the protected forests and see ancient plants as well as amazing wildlife. The Wet Tropics is one of the richest sites for biodiversity on earth and the Daintree is truly a place of spectacular beauty, rugged mountains, deep gorges, and flowing rivers.
We won’t forget to make a stop at one of the magical beaches that adorn the coastline of Cape Tribulation while enjoying a delicious lunch that features local produce in the serenity of the tropical rainforests. You will also get up close and personal with reptiles, frogs, and others in that area. If the cute and cuddly animals are more to your preference and comfort, then you will have the opportunity to feed the kangaroos and swamp wallabies in your own private zoo. Nothing like exploring our wildlife packages while exploring this beautiful nature and its precious animals!
This Queensland Australia vacation doesn’t end here. After munching on your lunch, you’ll get to see unusual and exotic fruits that originate from all over the globe's tropical regions. Along with the fruit trees, you’ll see that the orchard is also a host to beautiful species of tropical flowering plants, which are wonderfully both native and introduced. You’ll find yourself knowing that the sole purpose for the fruit grown here is to make fresh and pure ice cream and sorbet that’s made on the property. They’re sold nowhere else on the globe, so you’ll get a taste of tasty rare gift. For all those ice cream lovers, this is your chance to add to your list of flavors! As the day starts to come to an end, your last stop offers a picture postcard view of the Daintree River, Snapper Island, and on a clear day, Port Douglas.
