This must-do 3-hour unforgettable Bora Bora experience includes a private shark and ray snorkel safari, and has you swimming in the aquamarine waters of French Polynesia and coming face to face with an abundance of tropical marine life. Visit several spots around Bora Bora to discover sharks and 700 species of fish, and the chance to handfeed graceful stingrays.

After pickup from your hotel, hop aboard a covered boat and cruise the beautiful Bora Bora Lagoon.  With white sand under your feet, and your guide next to you, you will search for the gentle, beautiful stingrays that are famous in Bora Bora. Observing the rays in their natural environment is truly amazing. The calm, turquoise waters of the lagoon are protected by a flourishing coral reef, making it an ideal snorkeling destination. Visit several stops around the reef for an opportunity to get up-close looks at sharks, rays, and innumerable fish. Explore the reef's barrier and slip into the water to discover a coral garden thriving with nearly 700 species of vibrant tropical fish.

Your Polynesian guides will lead you in this exciting adventure. Always respectful and confident of the sharks, your guide will gently show you the best way to encounter these beautiful creatures. Should you prefer to not go in the water, you can also easily see them from the boat.

The last stop will be at the coral gardens where you will enjoy snorkeling with a healthy and prosperous underwater wildlife in the shallow waters of Bora Bora Lagoon. This Coral Garden Snorkeling experience will put you floating amongst hundreds of colorful tropical fishes and is one of nature’s most beautiful experiences.

Even though the marine life is widely represented, it is not guaranteed to spot an animal presence when going out. If this is the case, the excursion will not be reimbursed.

Depending on the weather conditions and the season, you will be able to explore 3 different eco-tourist areas of the island.

After your excursion, board your boat again and head back to shore to return to your hotel.

This eco experience departs daily at either 9am or 1pm.

Additional Information

Children under 2 are not catered to and those aged 3-17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. A reasonable level of fitness is required along with the ability to swim on your own.
