Sounds fun, right?

The Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park in our Queensland tours is the ultimate place to experience the rich and ancient cultures that have and always been unique to Australia's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. For over 26 years, the park has engaged, entertained, and educated thousands through two unique experiences known to many as, "Tjapukai By Day" and "Tjapukai By Night", each being distinctly different.

Want to check out Tjapukai by Night in your Cairns vacation? Great choice! Journey into the dreamtime for an unforgettable evening of delicious food and world-class entertainment. Take part in a welcome ceremony with drinks and canape's as well as sharing the celebration of authentic music, chanting, and dance as the world famous Tjapukai performers take on the rainforest stage followed by a spectacular fire-making Corroboree. You will also find yourself enjoying a delicious hot and cold buffet, including seafood. The night culminates with an intimate chat with the performers by the fire and the chance to take photos. So much fun! Your experience will seem nearly endless! Tour concludes at approximately 9:30 pm, in which the time for hotel drop offs will commence.

Alternatively, for clients wanting to visit the park during daylight hours, Tjapukai By Day is great for all ages! Tjapukai By Day can be to your preference if you prefer the daylight. Did we mention that there is also free Wi-Fi? Although you won’t really need to explore the internet during this fascinating and exciting tour, the option is still there! The parks restaurants, theatres, and retail shops are complimented by a wide range of interactive experiences that rotate throughout the day. Ranging from dance performances, boomerang, and spear throwing, men's and women's business through to art exhibitions, there is something for everyone to enjoy!

There are plenty of fun ways to get involved at Tjapukai! Sample bush tucker (foods native to Australia) at the Cultural Village, try your hand at spear and boomerang-throwing, learn to play the didgeridoo, and dance around the campfire. So exciting! Additional bookable activities include a guided tasting and demonstration of bush foods, native plants, and natural medicines as well as a traditional handicrafts workshop that involve boomerang painting, weaving, and jewelry making. There’s just so much to explore here!
