Located in the Northern Territory, Alice Springs is the third largest town in the territory as well as one of the oldest. Known for its unique pioneering spirit Alice Springs was established by early explorers and remains a center of activity in the region to this day.
An Adventure destination where visitors can look for gems and explore the desert on camel back or four-wheel drive. You can visit the Simpson Desert and learn about the Aboriginal people and see their art and listen to their stories. The most well-known natural highlight will the East and West Macdonnell Ranges that runs alongside Alice Springs for over a hundred miles.
The Northern Territory occupies about one sixth of Australia’s total land mass, with a population of about 200,000, and is known around the world for its iconic natural treasures, including the World-Heritage-listed national parks of Kakadu and Uluru-Kata Tjuta (Ayers Rock) and an ancient Aboriginal culture.
