This property rests on a spectacular 4000 acre property, surrounded by the peaks of Arthur’ Pass National Park. Midway between Christchurch and the West Coast, it is easily accessed by road (Highway 73) or the TranzAlpine Train.
Guests are greeted by stunning views from every window in a property designed to fit carefully into the landscape. Gourmet food and gracious hosts make this a memorable wilderness retreat.
The guided nature and sheep farm activities are a highlight. Twice-daily complimentary activities introduction guests to the forests, wildlife, starry night skies, and to sheep farming life. Watch sheepdogs work, feed lambs and learn about sheep shearing and merino wool on a real working farm (every second afternoon).
Longer charged activities take guests further afield to hike alpine trails, kayak mountain lakes and explore the splendor of the Southern Alps.
