On one evening, enjoy dinner and wine tasting at City Winery in Fortitude Valley. Brisbane’s first urban winery since 1860, City Winery resides in a converted warehouse and you can taste-test City Winery’s boutique, small-batch wines produced under the wine label Gerler (named after Carl Gerler, one of Brisbane’s first vintners).

Travel north to Hamilton Island, one of Australia’s most desirable holiday destinations. ‘Hamo’ – as it’s affectionately known to locals, is the largest island in the Whitsundays. Visitors travel to the Whitsundays from all around the world to relax on the pure white sands of Whitehaven Beach, soar over Heart Reef in a sea plane and stay in world-class accommodation on luxury islands. Your stay at Hamilton Island includes complimentary use of catamarans, windsurfers, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and snorkeling equipment. All you really need to bring is your sun cream and sunglasses for your fun in the sun experience.

A highlight of your stay on Hamilton Island is a morning cruise to Whitehaven and Chalkies Beach. Enjoy morning tea as you cruise through the Whitsunday Islands to the world-famous Whitehaven Beach. The crystal-clear aqua waters and pristine white silica sand stretch for over 4-miles along Whitsunday Island, the largest of the 74 islands in the Whitsundays. Enjoy time to wander along the beach to your own secluded stretch, laze on the beach or swim in the azure waters before returning to the island.

Back on the island, be sure to visit Hamilton Island Wildlife, where you can get up close to some of Australia’s native wildlife! Here is your opportunity to get your photo with a koala or join a guided tour to learn more from the expert keepers. There is a weekly activity guide that you can select your days activity, or you can pamper yourself at the Spa. Treat yourself to a helicopter flight over the Great Barrier Reef and see Heart Reef. Do as much or as little as you want!
