Pristine Tasmania

Pristine Tasmania

Enjoy a seven night coastal expedition cruise from Hobart that showcases the wild beauty and remarkable heritage of Australia’s island state, all in the intimate comfort of our classic small ship Coral Expeditions.

Pristine Tasmania

Australia > Tasmania > Freycinet National Park > Hobart > Port Arthur

8 Days, 7 Nights

Become immersed in Tasmania’s breathtaking National Parks; from the perfect circular formation of Wineglass Bay, to the dramatic peaks of pink granite at Freycinet, or the otherworldly remoteness of Maria Island National Park. At Tasman national park, seals, dolphins and albatross await to greet you, backed by intimidating 300m high cliffs.

Guided by an expert Expedition Team and a guest Tasmania specialist who knows the area inside out, you’ll gain a unique “locals experience/insider view” of the area, as you embark on easy to moderate short hikes including the famed Cape Hauy Track at Tasman peninsula and the rugged Fluted Cape of Bruny Island

Coral Expeditions 7-night roundtrip itinerary allows our guests to experience an authentic expedition voyage, with a flexible itinerary to enable the Captain to respond to weather conditions to ensure you see the best parts of Tassie in the best possible conditions. In the spirit of adventure, guests will be advised the day prior where their next adventure lies – perhaps an Oyster Farm, an undiscovered track, or even a seal colony basking in the sunlight.

If conditions allow, our guests will spend two days exploring the untouched Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area at Port Davey and Bathurst Harbour. Normally only accessible by seven-day hike or light aircraft, this region is undoubtedly one of the most pristine and beautiful landscapes on earth.

With only 44 guests, chefs have the creative freedom to prepare small batch meals using locally sourced ingredients.

This is an Expedition Cruise, so day-by-day will vary depending on weather conditions.
